Description
The Ruby Run is a celebration of the CTA’s 40th Anniversary, but it is also a fundraiser, helping us to continue our work to steward and protect the Catamount Trail, expand access to Vermont’s backcountry, conserve mountain lands, and grow CTA youth programs, tours, and community ski days.
Help support our work and get a chance to win some amazing prizes by participating in the Ruby Run Raffle. The raffle runs through March 13th, the end of the Ruby Run Tour! You do not need to be present to win.

3-Day, 2-Night Inn-To-Inn Catamount Trail Experience
This package includes a one-night stay for 2 at the Trapp Family Lodge, and Edson Hill during the 2025 winter season, perfect for exploring Catamount Trail Sections 22-24.
1-Night Bolton Valley Resort Ski Experience
This package includes a 1-night stay and 1-day lift passes for 2 at the Bolton Valley Resort during the 2025 winter season. A perfect opportunity to ride the lifts one day, and explore the Bolton backcountry or Section 22 of the Catamount Trail the next.
2-Night Vermont Huts Backcountry Skiing Experience
This package includes two nights at the Grout Pond Hut (sleeps 10) on Friday & Saturday, February 14th-15th, 2025. Courtesy of the Vermont Huts Association. The Grout Pond Hut is on Section 4 of the Catamount Trail, and also access a host of ski trails on the Green Mountain National Forest around Grout Pond, which are maintained by the CTA’s DHASH Chapter.

Eligibility & Rules
Participants are allowed to win 1 prize per raffle ticket. If a participant has earned or purchased multiple tickets it is possible to win multiple times. 14 & Under Participants are not eligible for the main event raffle. Prizes will be awarded with high value items first moving to lesser value items later. Fundraiser will end on March 13th, and prizes will be awarded on March 15th, 2024.
